champagne tange-gerard so far
At first, we thought that we were selling our champagnes from Soulieres. Then we understood, that champagne no matter how good, is a means to something even more important.
When you drink or eat something special in good company, you add more quality to the moment. Afterwards you will look back differently and share the memory of it forever.
Here’s a few summery ideas on how to combine our champagnes with easy seasonal food. We have added a bit of inspiration for small or bigger festive gatherings.
Maybe you agree with us that the ways we grow the grapes make a difference? We landed our first organic yields last year after three years of conversion. You can buy the champagne in some years.
So far into 2025, we are occupied by this season, so different from last year.
Currently we suggest our single plot assortment, all certified Viticulture Durable en Champagne, and our classic series where it all began.
our champagnes Solliphere 2017
In France, summer begins after the summer solstice thus June 22nd. In the Nordic countries, aka Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland, it’s summertime from the 1st of June.
Many are busy enjoying the mythical white nights. They often seem by far too brief. Which is why the summer parties begin as soon as possible after the arrival of summer.
If you say summer in France, you think of enjoying a glass in the open. Eat lunch at a table outside or even on the grass: picnic in the park or at the beach. Simple living and without too much fuss. A cool bottle of your favourite bubbly is just perfect in your picnic basket. It will bring you one level up without much trouble. Here’s a few more ideas for your basket.
Solliphere - soon in its third edition - is still the sunnier choice in the Tange-Gerard assortment. Chardonnay-grapes brimming over with sun from one single plot. Then transformed to our favourite liquid with very little done in the caves. We have always been fans of the idea of having bottled as much as we could of the year as it happened in our plot.
So there you go, this champagne is perfect when you welcome someone you care about. You can bring it to your table and serve chicken with lemon or a coq au Solliphere.
Please find more information about Solliphere 2017 here and about the rest of our assortment of champagnes here.
Enjoy :-)
learn to talk champagne
A champagne bottle is full of bubbles and its world is filled with words. Here's everything you ever wanted to know about the champagne vocabulary.
Apéro:
The French language is like a steeple-chase of abbreviations. Apéro is one of the more important ones : short for apéritif which is a glass of something, enjoyed before the meal. In the Champagne region, the apéro may drag on as this is often a moment to relax together.

bubbles from champagne
The little red berries are one of summer’s messengers. Possibly, one of those that we wait for the most.
Welcome to small and bigger strawberries, welcome to raspberries… from the gardeb obviously, yours or someone else’s. What could be better than these, gathered moments before dinnertime?
During these weeks in red, the desserts of this house are situated on a scale between 100% strawberries in one far end. And in the other more strawberries but mixed with other berries in the proportions that sun and rain suggest. This version is our favourite, 100% simple and just as good.
At Tange-Gerard, we spend most of our time observing and exploring our own terroir: the synthesis of the soil, the climate and the methods we use in the vineyards. We invite you to learn more in our blog, where we love to talk about the vineyards and the resulting bubbles.
