champagne tange-gerard so far
At first, we thought that we were selling our champagnes from Soulieres. Then we understood, that champagne no matter how good, is a means to something even more important.
When you drink or eat something special in good company, you add more quality to the moment. Afterwards you will look back differently and share the memory of it forever.
Maybe you agree with us that the ways we grow the grapes make a difference? We landed our second organic yields this year after three years of conversion. The second batch of young wines destined to make organic champagne are in the making.
You can buy the organic champagnes in some years. Currently, we have the first champagne from our second year in conversion up from the cave waiting for you. It belongs to our parcel champagnes and is certified Viticulture Durable en Champagne. You will also find the original bottles of the classic line. This is where it all began.
our champagnes Solliphere 2019 & Rosé d’Assemblage
Spring has come very early to Champagne this year. This means that the growth in the vineyards is very developped for the season.
You can fill your plate in the garden and on the village market. Think radish, asparagus, sorrel, nettles, dandelion, and other greeneries for your eyes, your nose and your tastebuds.
Let us suggest two champagnes from Tange-Gérard that will bring out your inner spring as you smell, sip and taste. Solliphere 2019 is the debutante of the vintage trio of this same name: fresh, floral and wonderfully tasty.
Our second recommendation is Rosé d’Assemblage. It combines classic Chardonnay elegance with hints of red fruits from the wine used to assemble this pink champagne.
You will find more information about Solliphere 2019 here and Rosé d’Assemblage here. The rest of our range is available here. Enjoy :-)
winetourism in Soulieres or occasionally at your place?
We’ve been sharing stories since 2009, and we continue to do so. Champagne is a wonderful wine, and its stories are just as compelling. At Champagne Tange-Gérard, we talk about climate change, organic production, the history of the Champagne region, why our bottles have such tricky names, the hard work in the vineyards, how we embrace new techniques in winemaking, and whatever else comes to mind — especially we love the questions from our guests. Do get in touch if you’re interested in our personal take on champagne while savouring this beautiful drink.

Organic base wines tasting in Épernay
In March, we had the pleasure to present our assembled base wines from 2025 in the company of some 33 collegaues from all over the Champagne region. All organic.
The target of the event was to present our base wines for cellar masters, chefs, students, specialised journalists and other professionals as well as a centralized possiblity to taste each other’s wines of the latest grapeharvest in Champagne.
The event took place in the magnificent vaulted cave of the museum in Épernay, the château Perrier worth your visit by the way. The tasting was organized by the association of organic winegrowers in Champagne (the ACB).

A champagne bottle is full of bubbles and its world is filled with words. Here's everything you ever wanted to know about the champagne vocabulary.

bubbles from champagne
The New Year is behind us, and most of winter is too. Though we can experience snow, the light is both longer and clearer than it was just a month ago. At this time, we look back and forward simultaneously — towards the new year and its coming-up season and back at the old year that gave wines to be bottled in the coming months. The young wine from 2025 is promising. So is the New Year. Please continue reading here.
Now, we’re truly looking forward to crafting beautiful champagnes from these young wines, which are already said to be the best in Champagne in decades.
As you may know, at Tange-Gérard, we spend most of our time outdoors. Terroir is the synthesis of soil, climate, and the methods we use in winemaking. Each year sets its own standard and brings us new experiences to build on those passed down by previous generations. It’s never dull.
We invite you to learn more in our blog, where we love to talk about the vineyards and the resulting bubbles.
